I use Slax a lot as a live system. But I am unable to use it on my development board with LVDS video output only, becouse after the udev autodetection Slax turns monitor off. This happens with or without xmode.

Can you tell me, which kernel option should help?

@Jakub try booting with the nomodeset option at boot. That should disable the KMS.

i tried to search for mysql module in browser
I just typed "my" it showed "No modules found for the given search and category criteria"

When will an installer to hard drive be available ?
Another slackware similar to what you have going, Does have an Installer,
Would it be possible to Join Forces & share info so that Both the OS, Can Benefit..
The other os is Beakos, Just a Thought..

@Kasprr, until the kernel is recompiled with CONFIG_BLK_DEV_FD=m, the lilo portion of the installer will have an issue. After that is fixed (hopefully next release), I have the old kmdr gui installer or my modified command line installer that can be used to install SLAX as a full linux to the hard drive.

@Kasprr, no it won't :P What I have is the old kmdr gui from the old slax which I made some modifications too. The command line script I made is from extracting and modifying stuff from the original kmdr gui script. Not to mention swaret is one of the better package manages for Slackware with good package dependency resolution.

Can you please make a download by torrent? Download speed from your site is often too small :(

In my opinion Slax is nicer than other LiveCDs because it is small but yet has lots of functionality.

Tomas, It possible that in the Modules section has a section for new modules that will be added?
